About Chris Arter
I am a professional guitarist, bassist, pianist and music instructor based out of Haddonfield, NJ. I have taught hundreds of students between ages 4 and 70 from beginner to advanced in all musical styles. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, RnB, Pop and even Broadway.
Teaching Style​
My teaching style is to first identify what music motivates students, and then carve out a path for them in fundamental practice towards achieving their goals, while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians, and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden each student's understanding of what is achievable and to motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.
