Chris Arter

Piano / Guitar / Bass Guitar

Chris is a professional pianist, guitarist, bassist, and music instructor based in Haddonfield, NJ. He has taught hundreds of students between ages 4 and 70, from beginner to advanced, in all musical styles. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007 and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, R&B, Pop, and Broadway.

Chris' teaching style is first to identify what music motivates students and then carve out a path for them in fundamental practice toward achieving their goals while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians, and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden students' understanding of what is achievable and motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.
